Later... with Jools Holland's Premiere All-Female Lineup

Later... with Jools Holland is known for its discovery factor ... It regularly showcases emerging artists, along with the established names, from all genres. Episode seven of Later's 50th series has an all-female lineup ... A first for the show. The list of performers includes Sheryl Crow, Lorde, Oumou Sangare, Pumarosa, Aldous Harding, Jane Birkin and rising British star Stefflon Don.

The Returning Artists:
US singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow returns with songs from her latest album Be Myself. It's a collection of songs she has described as a return to the sound of her Tuesday Night Music Club debut. New Zealand native and global pop superstar Lorde also returns to the show, following her premiere debut as a 16-year-old back in 2013. The Grammy Award-winning singing superstar from Mali; Oumou Sangare, will perform a song or two from Mogoya, her first album in five years.

English emigree Jane Birkin will join Jools at the piano for a chat. Jane and her husband, Serge Gainsbourg, scored a massive hit back in 1969 with the song "Je t'aime". She is releasing her first album in nine years, tackling the songs of Serge with a 90-piece orchestra.

The New Artists:
Making their debut on the show is the East London five-piece band Pumarosa. The band is led by compelling frontwoman Isabel Munoz-Newsome. This episode features a second artist from New Zealand, singer-songwriter Aldous Harding. She performs "Horizon" from her second album Party.

Birmingham-born rising MC and rapper Stefflon Don will also make a debut on the show. Her fiery brand of dancehall-infused hip-hop is influenced by the likes of Lil Kim, Foxy Brown and Missy Elliott.

The episode will air on BBC Two tomorrow, May 23rd and Friday, May 26th.
