Four Weekend Deconstructed & Reworked Designer Projects

This weekend, I pulled the features that I liked from pieces that I never wore and reworked them into funky add-ons to other pieces to take them to the next level of rebel chic.

The Skirts

I added an edgy update to my long, fitted Clips skirt with a bold snake-print silk insert from my former Jones New York skirt ... It had a cut that was just a tad too girly for my tastes.

I wanted to change up the pretty but traditional Jones skirt. I cut in high-low layeres and added a drapey element from my former Max Studio top. It can be dressed up for a sexy night out, or down for a stroll on the beach.

The Pants

I loved the idea of adding a touch of rebel to my Hache cropped pants. The wrap-around attached panel features front and back patch pockets, courtesy of my former J.Crew skirt.

I went full glam rock with the update for these black jeans. I hand painted them and added the metal studs ... The feature I was drawn to with my former Bess jeans.
