Deconstructed & Reworked: My Recent Projects

Of course I am still shopping my closet and reworking items that I've rarely worn! I recently went off on one of my tangents and experimented with 12 new, reworked pieces.

Here are a few...

I loved the print of my Elie Tahari top. I just didn't love the cutesy ruffle feature and decided to remove it. This minor tweak yielded major results. It's now totally my style.

I loved the handkerchief hem of the sweater below, but the turtleneck collar was a little too tight for my comfort. I decided to add the silk and eyelet touches from a never-worn blouse to the front, collar and sleeves. I also cut the sleeves to 3/4 length.

I totally loved the results. I wore it immediately.

The snake print of this Just Cavalli top was the reason it was one of my favorite tops. I thought it would be fun to add an adjustable side pouf detail.

I love the contrasting snake print courtesy of my former Ferré top.

The sweater top below was another experiment in varying sleeve lengths and color blocking. I loved the results and also wore this top immediately.

I also added part of my former Ferré top to my high-low Calvin Klein sweater.
