Updated: Two Experimental Deconstructed & Reworked Projects

Both of these projects started with never-worn pieces ... one still had the tags on it.

Project One: Hankerchief-Front Open Jacket
I had a never-worn M Missoni blazer that was a little too conservative (almost matronly) for my taste. I changed the drape and added contrasting print, courtesy of a plaid pair of wide-leg pants that I hadn’t worn in years...

Project Two: Denim-Look Sash
My J.Crew, a-line, box-pleated wool skirt was on sale, but still had the tags on it years later. I changed the color from winter white to an acid wash-like denim color. I also changed the box pleats to a bubble-style hem, then attached a never-worn belt and a silk ribbon...

Update: I upped the boho feel by adding a never-worn fishnet sash...
