The shesaid.so Alternative Power 100 Music List Nominations Are Open

“The Alternative Power 100 Music List is a symbolic gesture ... An opportunity to showcase non-traditional companies, career paths and levels of success that reject unilateral thinking. It is our privilege to express what diversity and representation mean to us, inclusive of mainstream selections and unconventional subcultures alike.”
This year's theme is 'Intersections'; inspired by values of shesaid.so ... To pay tribute to the marginalized communities who showed resilience in these past twelve months. Nominations are welcome for all gender identities, with a focus on but not limited to, POC, LGBTQ+, those with disabilities and those people working in emerging markets where access to resources is tough.

It is a reminder of the commitment shesaid.so made last year in regards to diversity and inclusion and is a celebration of the music industry's underdogs.

Nominations are open throungh March1st. They will close at 11:59, GMT.

shesaid.so has headquarters in London and LA. They host monthly events in London at Shoreditch House and Spotify and in Los Angeles at Soho House, covering all sectors of the music industry. On a global scale, shesaid.so hosts quarterly events in San Francisco, New York, Paris, Berlin, Lisbon, Belfast and multiple cities in Belgium.

shesaid.so has become a place where members can openly ask for advice, share jobs and events, announce new projects and build community. There are currently over 2500 members worldwide. The organization has also created the mentoring program she.grows.
