One Deconstructed Shirt, Two New Reworked Looks

I never thought that this Marc by Marc Jacobs top really worked for me. Despite the ribbon ties, the boat neckline emphasized my broad shoulders ... They didn't need the extra help. Removing the sleeves still didn't help, so it was time for a rework.

Project I:
First, I added a bottom insert to the bottom-front of my twrist-front top by the label Shirt. I then inserted a short, raw-edge back panel that included ribbons that draped over the shoulders to the front. I guess you could say that this is my funky, twisted interpretation of a cardigan draped over a shirt.

Project II:
I added a frilly yet rebellious, raw edge to update my strechy, center-ruched Kenzie pencil skirt. I included hanging ribbons on both sides to add a little more "flavor". I have some over-the-knee boots that I plan to rock with this skirt.
