Added Dimensions: Deconstructed & Reworked Designer Pieces

I worked on a good amount of rework projects over the holidays. There were no restrictions on what I was willing to cut. I deconstructed and reworked a few never-worn sheath dresses (not really into wearing that style), sweaters, an obi-style belt and even a cape. Here are a few of the results...

I created this pencil skirt by reworking two sheath dresses. The core part of the skirt was the bottom half of a Calvin Klein sheath dress. The belted feature is actually from the sleeves of a former sweater dress.

I combined argyle sweaters; adding contrasting front and back insert panels. I then added a touch of floaty silk to shake things up a little.

This fringed Company Ellen Tracy sweater originally had a boat neckline. I spiced it up by changing the neckline to an off-center v-neck. I then added scarf elements to add more interest.

I added the fringed autumn panel to my Rachel Roy bustle-back pencil skirt. The change brings edgy drama and vertical eye flow to the formerly plain front.
