Reworked Again

Yep, I did it again. I revisited two of my previous reworks. I just kept thinking, "What else can I do?" whenever I looked at these two pieces.

So here's what I did...
Bold Color Blocking
This is actually the third rework phase for this bag. I previously dyed it and added a glossy finish. It was still just too typical & normal ... Like it was never fully at that bold, Next Level phase.

This latest update involved taking the previously soft, ombré edge to a bold, gilded & funky level. This bag is definitely going into my "frequent flyer" category.

Phase One - The dye

Phase Two - The finish

Final Phase - Funky Color Blocking

Subtle Bling
This was not the typical rework. I started with raw material and went through several processes to get the original, reversible results.

I wanted a little something extra for the piece. I added subtle clear and black facet-cut beading (hand sewn) to catch the light. It really is perfect for catching the dimmed, lighting that is often used at fabulous evening events.

My glam, Phase Two update may be subdued, but it still makes an impact...
