Reworked Decor: Budget-Friendly Fab Updates

I decided it was time to update my work chair ... A director's chair that was a Christmas gift from a former employer (a local TV station). I wanted something different. I kicked off  my search looking at Louis-Style chairs. I was thinking of possibly a gold frame paired with a bold print.

I then explored the options in vanity stools. The scroll-back styles were cute, but I ultimately decided to just update my director's chair.

I removed the canvas back, dropped the arms, and then painted & used an acrylic sealant on the canvas seat. I used Krylon's Gold Leaf spray paint. I had plans to update my 2-tiered Lazy Susan (part of it is shown in the upper-right corner of the pictures) and add a gold trim to my inspiration board ... The trim adds a little "something extra" to the generic look of the cork bulletin board.

I liked the results so much that I added a coat to the formerly-antique-bronze-colored candle holder below.
