The New Nike Shoe

Nike is releasing a new, wrap-style yoga/dance shoe. Although it looks like a wrap sandal, it has an aesthetic that is along similar lines of the leather sock from the Prada SS 2013 show and the sock-like style of Vibram's Five Fingers footwear.

Nike describes the modular shoe, dubbed the Studio Wrap, as "a better-than-barefoot experience." Key features include:

• A ribbon wrap-style flat that stays in place.
• An open design that lets the foot breathe. 
• A non-slip rubber sole.

Penelope Cruz in Action

Not only is Penelope Cruz the new face of Loewe's, but she is also the model du jour for the 2013 Campari Calendar.

Cruz joins the list of the world’s most stunning women who have adorned the pages of previous Campari Calendars including, Selma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba and Milla Jovovich.

The 2013 calendar showcases Penelope symbolically dismissing old superstitions (Watch the photo shoot video below.).

Only 9,999 copies of the Campari Calendar will be printed. They will not go on sale ... These little jewels are given to select friends of Campari.

Ab Fab for Charity

Joanna Lumley, of Ab Fab and The Avengers, offered Ab Fab lovers the chance to own a piece of showbiz history. She auctioned some of her most famous outfits in the aid of charity.

Lumley said she only considered selling items which were special to her, including her entire personal collection of Ab Fab clothing.

Her good deeds were a total success ... She raised £15,000 to support the charity, The Prince's Trust.

Designer Sales

This is truly the season of sales. There is a huge list of designer sample sales in the Designer Sales tab of Fashion & the Steal's Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/FashionnTheSteal. 

This list is ridiculously large ... I believe I counted 35 different sales. 

The designer labels include Gucci, Bulgari, Tibi, Anna Sui, Tory Burch, Kara Ross, Theory, D&G and much more!

These sales are promising deep discounts. Most are up to 70% off. A few sales have 80% off ... And one sale boasts an amazing 95% off.

FYI - Azzaro, the Australian/New Zealand wholesaler that often hosts designer sample sales (Versace is one label they feature often), will soon offer online sales. I will keep you posted.
