Take A Look at this Look Book

A few seasons ago I featured, then emerging designer, Dora Abodi as part of a group of several designers showing at Nolcha Fashion Week.

I was very happy to receive photos from her Fall 2012 Look Book today.

Dora describes this collection as: "The velvet of the sheperd"

Inspired by the 'finesse', sophistication and decadence of the XVII century Paris, the dark and foggy world of the Wolfman movie and the simple but warm clothes of the Transylvanian sheperds, wandering with their sheeps in the romantic Carpathian mountains, the collection embodies a fantasy about a spoilt young countess living in a dark, ruinous, isolated castle and a young sheperd, falling in love with each other. Mixing lace, leather, faux fur, velvet, tulle, knitted materials, colors as dark green, black, coral red, navy blue, grey, gold, silver, red, elegant, aristocratic items with rustic and simple items, the collection becomes layered, chiseled and novel, but wearable, amazing and trendy. This is also the first time creating knitted materials with own designs.
