Eco Fashion Show: Green With Fashion

Wednesday, April 22nd in Philadelphia, PA:

Green with Fashion, a charity eco fashion show, will raise proceeds to increase awareness about Leukemia and Lymphoma. The show will feature 30 nationally and locally known boutiques and designers that focus on sustainable materials and/or make a conscience effort to reduce their carbon footprint in their business endeavors.

In addition, for the first time ever, students from Drexel University will unveil their sustainable men’s and women’s sportswear lines.

Gretchen Rossi is currently nominated for this years LLS “Woman of the Year” title in Orange County, CA because of her dedication to spread awareness after the recent passing of her fiancé this past September. She will be walking in the show as well a

s five Miss Philadelphia winners, Brintha Vasgar (2008), Kimberly Rogers (2007), Mary Kaye Jacono Anthony (2006), Kate Wilson Cohen (2000) and Dr. Kiplee Bell (1998).

The show will be held at F.U.E.L. Collection (249 Arch St.) at 7pm with celebrity guest Gretchen Rossi from Bravo’s hit TV show “Real Housewives of Orange County” as a featured model and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) spokesperson.

Tickets are $20 and will only be available for pre-sale at Green with Fashion; proceeds will go to the LLS.

Designer Profile: Kitchen Orange

Kitchen Orange is a Canadian label who's mission is to produce clothes that are "fashion forward, with a little commercial touch, keeping the Kitchen Orange promise to be noticed".

The label had much success at New York Fashion Week this year and has been involved in popular past shows such as Project Las Vegas (Aug), Who's Next Paris (Sept), Fashion Coterie NYC (Sept), Traffik Miami (Sept) and many more.

Using the finest Italian fabrics, wools, linen and corduroy, the collection is rich but affordable. The styles in the classic group are made of 100% bamboo, gorgeous pants, dresses, vests and skirts that are eco-friendly, biodegradable, and amazingly comfortable.

The wools used in the sweater knit groups are our finest wools and knitted bamboo ... the whole french terry group is made out of 100% organic cotton.
