Dora Abodi is a creative force. I was very impressed with her Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, shown at The Luxe Collective Show of Nolcha Fashion Week: New York. Her designs are beautifully unusual, worldly elegant with a bit of creative edginess. Even the name of the collections are exotic; the strong and chic Clandestine Collection (Fall/Winter 2009 - her first) and the whimsical nymph-like M'Amour Collection (Spring/Summer 2010).
Dora not only designs her namesake Pret-a-Porter line, based in Budapest. She and designer Tunde Deak are partners of the hip, urban sub-brand Loulou di Palma (bottom picture), which is designed for the young, continental (well-traveled) fashionista.
You could say Dora's creative talent is hereditary; she's a creative legacy ... both parents are established artists (Visit Geza Nagy & Nagy Stoica to see their work). She studied fashion design in Budapest at the Mod'Art International.
