Dolce & Gabbana Starts a New Trend - All Access to The Creative Process

Leave it to the dynamic duo to start a trend (hopefully) ... to share the whole creative experience that goes into presenting a runway show.

How nice and refreshing to see the process. It's like you get a glimpse into the real person behind the designer label.

There are a series of preview videos (the latest one below) on You Tube's Dolce & Gabbana Chanel (in addition to the Press Conference video).

FTV also provided exclusive footage of the show.  This footage not only includes the live show, but also great behind the scenes activity. I was transfixed while watching the designers speak with the press including Tim Blanks and Suzy Menkes, and the makeup & hair process with pictures of Scarlett Johansson mounted on the mirrors --just a hint at the presentation.

The footage switched from backstage to arrivals until it was just before showtime.  Then it focused mainly on last-minute quick fixes before going to the runway show.  As they say in the press conference, the show, in one word, is Latin. It's very theatrical and the fabrics are lush and exotic.

I was in a fashion coma yesterday with all of this exclusive access coming straight to my TV ... pure heaven.
